From tech to textiles, we offer hands-on activities you won't find anywhere else in East Contra Costa County. Drop in for a single project or take a class to build real skills.

    Never made anything before? Perfect. Every project and intro class is designed for complete beginners. Staff guide you through every step.

  • Hobbyists Getting Unstuck

    Bought a 3D printer but haven't had the chance or motivation to learn? Come join us and get inspired to continue your journey. Same goes for sewing machines, Cricuts, and other gear collecting dust.

  • Entrepreneurs

    Prototyping a product? Need small batch production? Use our equipment and expertise to go from idea to physical product without buying your own machines.

  • Families

    Hands-on activities for the whole family. Kids under 18 welcome with a parent or guardian. Dedicated kids workshops during school breaks.

    Birthday parties, corporate team building, friend groups. Private sessions available with custom project options.

What is a makerspace?
A makerspace is a community workshop where you can use shared tools and equipment to build, create, and learn. Think of it as a gym membership, but for making things – 3D printers, sewing machines, leather tools, and more.
Do I need any experience?
Not at all. Most of our drop-in projects and intro classes are designed for complete beginners. Staff are on hand to help you every step of the way.
What ages are welcome?
Ages 18 and up can participate in most activities. Kids under 18 are welcome with a parent or guardian.
How much does it cost?
Drop-in projects start at $15. Classes range from $25 to $40. Day passes for open lab time are $15 ($10 for members).
Do I need to book in advance?
Drop-in projects are first come, first served – just show up. Classes and events should be booked ahead as they fill up. Check our calendar for upcoming dates.
Where is Maker Pub located?
We're in Antioch, CA – easily accessible from Brentwood, Oakley, Pittsburg, and the rest of East Contra Costa County.
