Booking and class enrollment. When you book equipment time or enroll in a class, we collect the information necessary to process your reservation, including your name, contact information, and class or equipment preferences.

Payment information. When you make a purchase (memberships, classes, day passes, or supplies), payment is processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store your credit card number or bank account details on our servers. We receive a transaction record including the amount, date, and last four digits of your payment method.

Usage data. We automatically collect information about how you interact with our website, including pages visited, time spent, browser type, and referring URL. We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and to keep you signed in.

Check-in data. When you visit the makerspace and check in, we record your visit for safety, equipment usage tracking, and membership verification purposes.

We use the information we collect to:

• Process class enrollments, equipment bookings, and payments
• Send you newsletters and updates you have opted into, based on your content preferences
• Send transactional emails (booking confirmations, receipts, account notifications)

Maker Pub is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, you may not create an account or subscribe to our newsletter.

Users between 13 and 17 may create an account and use our services with parental or guardian consent. Minors using the makerspace must have a liability waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.

If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

• Service providers who help us operate our business (payment processing, email delivery, analytics, hosting). These providers only access your information as needed to perform their services and are contractually required to protect it.
• Legal authorities when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Maker Pub, our members, or others.

If you make your profile public, your username, display name, bio, and project gallery may be visible to other users and visitors.

We send two types of email:

• Transactional emails – booking confirmations, receipts, account verification, and password resets. These are necessary for the service and cannot be opted out of while you have an active account.
• Marketing emails – newsletters, class announcements, and event updates. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by updating your email preferences in your account settings.

Newsletter subscriptions require email confirmation (double opt-in) before you begin receiving emails.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or safety reasons.

Newsletter subscriber information is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

Payment transaction records are retained as required by tax and accounting regulations.
