Bambu Lab A1 with AMS Lite

The Bambu Lab A1 is our go-to printer for multi-color and high-speed jobs. With the AMS Lite, it automatically switches between up to 4 filament colors in a single print — no manual swaps needed. It prints fast, handles complex geometry well, and produces clean results right out of the box.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring my own filament?
We provide PLA and PETG in a range of colors. If you need a specific material or color we don't stock, let us know ahead of time and we can usually accommodate.
How long does a typical print take?
Small items (keychains, tokens) take 30 minutes to an hour. Medium items (deck boxes, phone stands) take 2-4 hours. Large or detailed prints can run 6+ hours.
Do I need to know how to use slicer software?
Not for drop-in projects — we have pre-sliced models ready to go. If you want to print your own designs, our Advanced 3D Printing class covers the Bambu Studio software.
What AMS units are compatible with the A1?
The A1 supports one AMS Lite (4 colors, no external spool) or any combination of up to four AMS, AMS 2 Pro, or AMS HT units (up to 16 colors). The AMS Lite does not support using the external spool holder at the same time. See the full compatibility guide at wiki.bambulab.com.
Is the Bambu Lab A1 good for beginners?
Yes. It's one of the most beginner-friendly printers on the market. Auto-leveling, easy filament loading, and reliable first-layer adhesion mean you get good results without a lot of tinkering.
